and Senior Estimator

Darand Davies began working in the glass business in 1985 on the glass cutting table, eventually working his way into sales and estimating. In 1991, Darand pursued his dreams of running his own shop and purchased Dallas Glass. While there, the small company grew into a major glazing subcontractor, doing landmark projects in the mid-Willamette Valley and beyond. In 2019, Darand left his former company to start Black Line Glazing with some key employees and partners. In his over 35 years in the glass industry, he has seen significant changes and advances in glazing. Darand is the chief executive officer and senior estimator for Black Line Glazing. His goal has always been to build a company on the principles of Philippians 2:3-4 in all aspects of doing business and life. When he’s not at work, Darand loves big game hunting; waterfowl hunting; traveling with his wife, Debbie; and working side by side with three of his sons.
